Florida Blueberry Festival Logo

The Florida Blueberry Festival, Inc. was founded in 2009. The festival received its 501 C3 designation in May of 2010. Though independently operated and independent of the Brooksville Vision Foundation, the festival was created to provide funding to the Brooksville Vision Foundation for the re-energization of the City of Brooksville, Hernando County Seat, and Hernando County’s hub. Since the creation of the festival, the event has been held in uptown Brooksville; it will be celebrating its fifth year in 2016.

Many Hernando County residents, business leaders and associates of both the city, the county and the blueberry growers community were instrumental in the creation of the Blueberry Festival concept. Listed below are the participants that actually brought it to fruition.
